What General Legal is
An AI-native law firm. Technology handles the routine work. US-barred attorneys apply judgment and are responsible for every matter. We bill for outcomes, not hours. For most agreements we support companies doing business in all US states.
What it costs
Prices are a starting point. Standard matters, where you answer our questions, usually fit the $250 and $500 packages. Your quote depends on the matter, what you want from us, and how well we already know you. White-glove service costs more.
- $250 Simple Contract Review: 3 pages or fewer (NDAs, simple SOWs, LOIs).
- $500 Standard Contract Review: 3 to 25 pages, one revision round, Negotiation Guide.
- $1,000 Full Negotiation: unlimited turns, counterparty calls when needed.
- $2,000 Drafting: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, MSA, DPA or BAA. Smaller drafting projects: $1,000 to $1,500.
- Review or drafting depends on who wrote the document. If someone else wrote it, you pay for review by page count. If nobody has, it is drafting.
- Over 25 pages, or not listed? We propose a scope and flat fee first. Long contracts start at $1,000. You approve it before we start.
How AI and attorneys fit together
Our AI learns from elite attorneys and real outcomes, not only from documents. Playbooks and market intelligence make guidance sharper with every matter. An attorney is responsible for every matter. AI is only as good as the lawyer behind it.
What we cover
Technology transactions, commercial contracts, employment, data privacy, financial regulation, crypto and blockchain, startups and venture capital, tax, defense and government contracts, infrastructure deals, commercial real estate, M&A and private equity, and intellectual property.
What we do not do: estates, litigation outside of employment, and matters that need a lawyer licensed in China.
